Japanese Christmas

Luckily for us christmas in the UK is slightly different to christmas in Japan, granted we have the rush to get the perfect turkey in the run up but that seems tame considering what the traditional meal in Japan is. For their meal your looking at booking your table in October or worse still queuing for hours on end at a resteraunt to get your meal. We have the option to eat in or out for our traditional meal, but the Japanese don't have that luxury as their meal can only be bought at the famous KFC. How random is that? Talk about advertising, thats gotta kick the coca cola ads to the curb when it comes to monopolising a holiday.
I think I'll stick with my countries tradional food this year, and maybe grab myself some japanese to celebrate a few days later.

Word of the day: Oishii - delicious
